THE DAY OF THE LORD

The burden of the Word of the Lord to the Churches by Gorden Gruber.

"You say you love the Lord, yet how have you loved Him? Did I not call Paul as my Apostle to the Gentiles? Yet you have chosen Peter My Apostle, to the circumcised. He opposed My Apostle Paul in demanding you be circumcised, coming into bondage of the law, giving up all your liberties. Rome and her harlots has built up, but I will throw down; they shall be called the Territories of Wickedness, and the people against whom the Lord will have indignation forever. Your eye shall see and you shall say, the Lord is magnified beyond the border of Rome."

"A son honors his father, and a servant his master. If then I am the Father, where is My honor? If I am your Lord, where is My influence in your life? If I am a Master, where is My reverence?" Says the Lord of hosts to you priests who despise My name.

"Yet you say, ‘In what way have we despised Your name?’ You offer defiled food on My altar. But you say, ‘In what way have we defiled you?’ By offering a theology, so watered down, so perverted, creating a congregation that are lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of Me, attracting them to church, but denying the life changing power My Spirit offers," says the Lord of hosts.

"But now you say, ‘We can entreat God’s mercy that He may be gracious to us.’ Since you have committed the unforgivable, how can this be done? Since you have blasphemed My Holy Spirit, who is available to shut the doors, so that you would not kindle fire on My altar in vain? I have no pleasure in you," says the Lord. "Nor will I accept an offering from your hands."

"For from the rising of the sun, even to its going down, My name shall be great among the witnesses I have chosen in these last days. In that place, My doctrine shall be restored. They shall become a pure offering to My name. For My name shall be honored on judgment day," says the Lord of hosts.

"But you profane My doctrine, in that you say, ‘I do not know what you are experiencing. That when I walked upon the earth, I did not have the ability to sin.’" "You have defiled My Spirit and your fruit is contemptible."

"You also say, ‘Oh, what a weariness!’ And you sneer at it," says the Lord of hosts. "You bring the sexually perverted, the thieves, and the sick: thus you bring an offering! Should I accept this from your hand?", says the Lord. "Cursed be the priest that has these in his flock, justifying his vows, sacrificing to the Lord what is blemished--For I am a Great King," says the Lord of hosts, "And My name is to be feared among the nations."

"And now, O priests, I have cursed your blessings because you have justified your disobedience. I will rebuke your descendants and spread dung on your faces, the dung of your solemn feasts; My witness will take you away with it. Then you will know I am the Lord and My covenant with Paul must be fulfilled," says the Lord of hosts. "My covenant with him is one of life and peace. I gave you Gentiles to Paul that he might fear Me. So he feared Me and was reverent before My name. The law of truth was in his mouth and injustice was not found on his lips. He walked with Me in peace and equity. He turned many from iniquity. For the lips of a priest should keep knowledge and people should seek the truth from his mouth; for he is the messenger from the Lord of hosts. But you have departed from the way; causing many to stumble with the law. You have corrupted the covenant of Paul," says the Lord of hosts. "Therefore, I also have made you contemptible and base before all the people because you have not kept Paul’s ways and have shown partiality in the law."

"Have we not all one Father? Has not one God created all mankind? Why do we deal treacherously with one another by profaning the covenant of Paul? The Roman Catholic Church has dealt treacherously and an abomination has been committed in Rome and in all the churches. For Rome has profaned My holy institution which I love. You churches have married the daughter of a foreign god. I will cut off from the grace of Paul the man who follows this blasphemy, being awake and aware, and who brings an offering to Me, the Lord of hosts. And this is the second thing you do; you cover My altar with prayers, weeping and crying for the sick; I do not regard your prayers anymore, nor receive you with good will.

"Yet you say, ‘For what reason?’ Because I have witnessed your taking a foreign wife; the treacherous attitude you had with Her. My Spirit could not make you one. I seek godly offspring. Therefore, take heed to My Spirit. For Paul witnessed there was one body, one Spirit, yet you have made it into tens of thousands of different bodies and different spirits. I hate divorce but have grave contempt for marriages to Pagans. Did I not make the Jews divorce their Pagan wives and be rid of their off-spring? You have covered yourselves with a garment of violence. You have accepted a doctrine so contemptible to Me the Lord of hosts that I gave you up to vile passions; women falling in love with other women, likewise men lusting after other men. AIDS being the just reward for this sin. Then, because you did not receive the love of the truth, I gave you up to a debased mind to do these things; being filled with all sexual unrighteousness, becoming masturbators, loving anal and oral sex, sexually abusing your children, becoming wicked, covetous, malicious, full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evilmindedness; you became whisperers, backbiters, haters of true doctrine, violent, proud, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, undiscerning, untrustworthy, unloving, unmerciful; and if that’s not enough, you knowing the righteous judgment of God, that those who practice such things are worthy of death. In your support of such people, you deserve the same fate. Yet you say, ‘How do we show our support?’ By wearing ribbons, by holding prayer vigils and by contributing money," says the Lord of hosts.

"For I am the Lord, I do not change. In the Day of the Lord you will be consumed O sons of Rome. From the days of your fathers you have gone away from My ordinances and have not kept them."

"Will a man rob God? Yet you have robbed Me! You can never return to Me. You have robbed Me of My pleasure of your fellowship," says the Lord of hosts. "But you say, ‘In what way have we robbed you?’ You have destroyed the sacrifice I so willingly gave of My Son. You give more to your government in taxes than the pittance you give, if any at all, to Me in tithes and offerings. Yet why not, you have created a government to pass laws to contain the consequences of your debased mind. Allowing them to be lord of your life, the caretaker of your peace and joy."

"Behold, the day is coming, burning like an oven, and all the proud, yes, all who blasphemed My Spirit will be stubble. The day which is coming shall burn them up," says the Lord of hosts. "But to you who fear My name and have not blasphemed My Spirit, the Sun of Righteousness shall arise with healing in His wings; and you shall go out and grow fat like stall-fed calves. You shall trample the wicked, for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet on the day that I do this," says the Lord of hosts. "These shall be My witnesses."
